Definition of Narrative
Narrative is a text
focusing some specific participants that have several structural features making different from other genres. Narrative has social function that is to tell
stories either in present which is called present narrative, past narrative and
future which is called future narrative, to entertain the reader.
Generic Structure of Narrative

Orientation : Introducing the participants and informing the time and the
place. It
also introduce some
characters involved in this genre.
·
Complication : Describing the rising crises which the participants have to do
with or
among participants
relationship in a process of social interaction.
·
Resolution : Showing the way of participant to solve the crises, better
or worse.
Example of Narrative
The
Three Little Pigs
Once upon a time there lived a mother pig with her
three little pigs. The pigs grew so big that they had to leave their home and
build houses for themselves.
The three pigs set off. Soon they met a man with
some straw. The first little pig took the straw and built a house of straw for
himself. The second little pig met a man with sticks. He built his house with
sticks.
The third little pig was afraid that the wolf might
blow his house down, so he built his house with bricks.
The next day the wolf appeared. He blew down the
house of straw. Then he blew down the house of sticks, but he could not blow
down the house of bricks.
Suddenly the wolf got an idea. He climbed on the
roof. Meanwhile the third little pig put a pot of water on the fire to boil.
The wolf began to come down the chimney. Into the pot fell the wolf with a big
splash!
That was the end of the greedy wolf and the pigs
lived together happily ever after in the house of bricks.
Descriptive

Descriptive text is
text which describe someone place, or
thing.
Generic Structure of Descriptive
· Identification : Identifying
the phenomenon to be described.

Description : Describing
the phenomenon in parts, qualities, or/and
characteristics.

MOLY
Moly is my pet , it is
kind of tekel dog, it has brown and black color. Moly has small body and long
ear. The legs of Moly is short so thats why the tekel dog can not run fast. So the
tekel can be cute pet because the body is unique. Moly is my lovely pet because
it is really cute and can be friend in my house.

How Mocha Float is Made
Mocha Float is my
favorite drink, if you want to make mocha float just following the process. First,
prepare the big mug, ice, black coffee, milk, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream. Second,
put ice in the mug, pour black coffee, milk and chocolate in the mug. Third, stir
the materials until the color to be brown. Fourth, put the vanilla ice cream on
the mocha float. Finally the mocha float ready to drink , it is so simple to do
it.
